Norway Grants programme presents successful projects

13.02.2024
Four years have passed since the first call supported by the Environment, Ecosystems and Climate Change Programme was launched. During this period, the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic, in cooperation with the Norway Grants, supported more than CZK 800 million for over 165 successful projects and initiatives.

These have focused on the protection of ecosystems and biodiversity, air and water pollution and strengthening the resilience of municipalities and regions to the negative effects of climate change, as well as the development of international cooperation in environmental protection.

Join us for a look at selected examples of good practice in the new series of mini-documentaries we have prepared for you. Will salmon find their way back into our waterways? What does the future hold for Czech fish farming? And what unexpected workers help with the maintenance of the Kosteliska bird park? Find the answers to these questions in our videos. You can watch them from 9th February on our YouTube channel or on the Environment, Ecosystems and Climate Change facebook profile.

In the first part, we look together under the roofs of the farms. Here, Czech ornithologists are building new nests for the endangered barn owl.
